A HISTORY OF MINING EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE

Pershimex Resources took its current form following a series of mergers and acquisitions. This Quebec junior mining company owns the huge Courville property, which covers 132 km2 between Barraute and Senneterre. The property is also home to the former Pershing-Manitou gold mine, which was active in the 1940s. The current Courville property was established after many years of work. It includes several confirmed gold deposits, which are being developed alongside the property. The company is taking up the torch after more than 80 years of work from several companies and individuals.

THE ENVIRONMENT AT THE HEART OF OUR PRIORITIES

Site reclamation

Pershimex Resources has agreed to restore the former Pershing-Manitou mine, a government liability. The company has committed to restoring the abandoned mine, removing and treating the waste rock pile of mineralized material, and revegetating the site.

More than 2,000 tons of gold-bearing material were transported and processed at a local processing plant.

By rehabilitating the site, Pershimex Resources is ensuring the social acceptability of the project while respecting nature, which is a value in line with the company’s history.
